Braking Innovations has been an innovator of automotive brake products for eleven years. Retailing mostly through 4WD upgrade outlets, our main customer base is recreational four wheel drive and commercial vehicles. We identified that these vehicles were being overloaded, compromising braking efficiency.
Starting with rear drum to disc brake conversions for eight different four wheel drive utes, Braking Innovations then moved to develop front brake upgrades and twin diaphragm brake boosters.
Four years ago, Braking Innovations identified another problem with overloaded vehicles – the efficiency of their mechanical hand brakes. So, we developed an Electric Secondary Park Brake, using the technology on many new cars, and applying it to recreational four wheel drive and commercial vehicles.
